This international exhibition will showcase the private collection of the Vienna-based gallerist and contemporary art collector, Ernst Hilger. The Hilger Collection not only covers 21st century contemporary art but also deals with the modernist period and various international art movements of the 20th century. This will also be reflected in the exhibition, which will present a selection of works by 38 artists from around the globe, some already internationally established, others now emerging. This exhibition seeks to present a story about supporting art, strengthening the bonds between the collector, the artist and the general public, and raising awareness of the role played by art in society.
Mednarodna razstava predstavlja umetniško zbirko dunajskega galerista in zbiratelja sodobne umetnosti Ernsta Hilgerja. Njegova zbirka obsega poleg del sodobne umetnosti 21. stoletja tudi obdobje modernizma in različnih mednarodnih umetniških gibanj 20. stoletja. Temu sledi tudi razstava z izborom del 38 mednarodno uveljavljenih ali uveljavljajočih se umetnikov z vsega sveta. Razstava želi prikazati zgodbo o podpori umetnosti, o krepitvi vezi med zbirateljem, umetnikom in širšo javnostjo ter o ozaveščanju glede vloge in pomena umetnosti za družbo.
