The members of the art collective Podmladek have been coming together for 6 years, exhibiting together and developing their individual artistic expressions. They work at the intersection of illustration, painting, graphics, photography, video, animation and graphic design. By jointly exhibiting and issuing publications, they want to present their works to a wider audience as a group. In 2017 and 2018, they presented themselves in the form of a self-initiated pop-up exhibition as part of the Križevniska Street Day in the Mini Theater Ljubljana, in 2019 and 2020 as part of the festival Dobimo se pred Škucem with independent exhibitions in the SŠuc Gallery in Ljubljana, and in 2021 with an exhibition in the Media Nox gallery in Maribor.

This project is part of the program by the Mladi zmaji Institute, supporting and promoting young talent.

Člani umetniškega kolektiva Podmladek se združujejo že 6 let, skupaj razstavijajo in ob tem razvijajo svoje individualne umetniške izraze. Delujejo na presečišču ilustracije, slikarstva, grafike, fotografije, videa, animacije in grafičnega oblikovanja. S skupnim razstavljanjem in izdajanjem publikacij želijo svoja dela skupinsko predstaviti širšemu občinstvu.

OPENING HOURS: All day, all night

In 2021, the Portal in the Infinite Cabin opened at Špica in Ljubljana. This unique gallery space utilizes an old telephone booth, allowing visitors to make unlimited calls and directly interact with the public space. Simultaneously, it provides a platform for young artists to showcase their work through installations, performances, and other artistic disruptions. The Portal aims to bring art to Špica, transcending the traditional hierarchy of needs.
