ARTWALK: A walk through Ljubljana's landmarks, created in the capital by artists and architects from Slovenian Istria
Curated by Mara Ambrožič Verderber
@Meeting Point: Prešeren Square
The Director of the Piran Coastal Galleries will present an independent view of the locations we think we are very well familiar with, by walking through some of the key urban and architectural points of the city, which are in some shape or form connected to the creators from Slovenian Istria. The art historical aspect of the walk will be complemented by the director's insights into the management of one of Slovenia's major institutions of modern and contemporary art at a time when the conversation about the task of decentralising the Slovenian cultural landscape is becoming increasingly welcomed.
The walk will end with a glass of Vinakoper refosco (RE MAGGIORE by Sara, Sound experience).
