ORGANISATION

RAVNIKAR is a non-profit arts organisation dedicated to championing and nurturing emerging voices in contemporary art, while bridging independent artistic practices with the wider community. The RAVNIKAR gallery and R SPACE project space showcase a variety of progressive artistic practices in contemporary visual and intermedia arts, featuring both Slovenian and international artists. Committed to accountable inclusivity and collaborative orientation, RAVNIKAR empowers artists through participatory practices. Recognising contemporary art's role in socio-political and cultural discourse, they feature artists who challenge norms and offer unique perspectives. Additionally, they contribute to the cultural landscape through initiatives like the LJUBLJANA ART WEEKEND and co-founding ETC magazine. As a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance and the Gallery Climate Coalition, RAVNIKAR promotes new voices while prioritising environmental sustainability, with support from the Municipality of Ljubljana and the Ministry of Culture.
