ETC. BRUNCH: COMFORT FOOD
@Mala galerija BS, Slovenska cesta 35
Join us for a brunch prepared by Živa Hanc, a freelance chef and art historian, accompanied by a presentation of the fourth issue of the ETC. magazine titled Comfort Zone. Together with Živa we will discuss themes of nostalgia, tradition, and community through the notions of comfort food, cuisine, and regional customs.
Although Živa Hanc never intended to work in hospitality, she has found that working with food and wine relates to some of the same concepts that excited her when she was studying art: beauty, the complex relationship between people and nature, the historical development of social norms, authorial influence and, above all, the elusive blending of cultures.
Enjoy the delicious food and gather your strength for the day ahead!

Iva Suhadolnik Gregorin: Being a map
@Space for Art NÓT, Vodnikov trg 5a, Ljubljana
Who holds the pen to draw the map? Is there room for error in mapmaking? Can subjectivity bleed into its lines? Can the map of a space become the space itself? The map slowly unfolds and we let it breathe. The map finds its first coordinates in the beginning. In the fleeting panic of creation. In the unpolished force of a musician's debut album. In the first frame of a trilogy. In the electric uncertainty of a first kiss. The map takes shape through the courage to start. So let's start.

Kela, Gathering at the opening of the production and art space KELA 2.0
@Kela, Celovška 145 a
Kela, Production Art Space is a hub for artists of different generations who contribute their experiences and diverse expertise in the fields of culture and art. In addition to its founders, the space can be accessed and used by a broader professional and general public through an established system. They are also offered professional support and creative guidance alongside the desired workspace. This kind of space-sharing and intergenerational exchange of knowledge and experience encourages high-quality artistic production, supports individual creators, and opens up opportunities for new artistic collectives. The logical outcome of this is a richer public cultural sphere.
This time, representing Kela are: Peter Fettich, Lana Požlep, Hana Podvršič, Sara Rman, Luka Prijatelj, Vita Tušek, Maša Knapič, Urška Savič, Valerija Intihar, Iva Suhadolnik Gregorin, and Peter Rauch.
17.00–18.00
ARTWALK: Manca G. Renko: Speak, Memory
@Meeting point: Monument to Women's Demonstrations, Kongresni trg
The walk will start at Kongresni trg, a square that was built for the Congress of Laibach in 1821, the most important international meeting in Ljubljana that aimed to establish a conservative order in Europe after the end of the Napoleonic Wars. However, the square has become an important site for various kinds of public demonstrations, and the main topic of the walk will be: Who can speak, and when? And: Who hears, and what?
From Kongresni trg we will pass the University of Ljubljana, Vegova ulica, the Napoleon monument, the house of Anton Alexander von Auersperg, and Zois Mansion; each stop will open up different aspects of history, historical figures, gender, marginalisation, and the line between public and private, comfort and discomfort, past and present.
